Review: There are some horror movies that leave you thinking about them for days, even weeks after watching them: "oh man, remember THAT scene from Hereditary?" Or, "do you think Childs was also part of the Thing?" Horror movies, when done right, have a habit of clawing out their own niche in your mind, burrowing in and infecting your thoughts for years to come. "Rottentail" will have you asking your friends or yourself: "hey, remember that movie we watched about the nice guy mad scientist who got bit by a hyper-aggressive mutant bunny while holding his experimental serum so, naturally, he turned into a sass-talking humanoid mutant bunny that's got super-bunny-strength and super-bunny-speed because, like, duh; oh and he had sex with a general's wife while making bad puns before going to help his love interest save her church from being blown up by a Joel Osteen knock-off? Remember that?" Because that's what Rottentail is. And while it's admittedly pretty great in an intentionally campy sort of way, the schtick wears thin by the 45 minute mark. It's still got some outrageous gags along the way, but I found myself watching the clock and cheering on its end. Basically, it's a Troma film without the label. If you're going to watch this, make sure you are really comfortable with intentionally campy movies or invite some friends over that might (and maybe bring some extra goodies to help you get into the spirit of the film).

Overall Score: 2 out of 5 Chads putting on their fursuits mutating into sassy bunny-boys. Did Rottentail scare you? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
